Nine sports were featured in the Christchurch Games: athletics, badminton, boxing, cycling, lawn bowls, shooting, swimming and diving, weightlifting and wrestling. The complex that these games were held at was "Queen Elizabeth II Park" (Known locally as QEII) which was built specifically for the games.
