Ahead of this weekends Brno race, Jorge Lorenzo is leading the Championship by 18 points.
DC motor: Switch your leads. AC single phase motor: Direction cannot be changed. The motor will run the same direction regardless of how your leads are terminated. AC 3 phase motor: Switch any two leads.
From the bottom of the motor contactor's heater block you connect the motor's leads to T1, T2 and T3. If the motor rotates in the wrong direction reverse any two leads on the bottom of the motor's contactor heater block.
You can connect a battery to a small motor by using wires to connect the positive terminal of the battery to the positive terminal of the motor, and the negative terminal of the battery to the negative terminal of the motor. Make sure to match the voltage of the battery with the voltage requirement of the motor to prevent damage.
If switching the leads on a 3-phase motor did not result in a reversal of direction, it could be due to incorrect lead identification or a faulty switching mechanism. Double-check the connection diagram for the motor and ensure that you are switching the correct leads. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the motor itself that requires further investigation or professional assistance.
short leads
Reverse any two line leads connected to the motor will reverse the directional rotation of the motor
Interchanging the red and black leads in the motor's motor junction box will reverse the direction of rotation on the motor.
The simplest synchronous motor has two leads which must be connected to the live and neutral of the correct supply voltage as marked on the motor.

If it is a three lead 3-phase motor, it is easy: connect the incoming three leads randomly to the three leads on the motor (one to one) so that there are a total of three splices. The motor will run but possibly in reverse If it runs in reverse, switch any two of the three splices ---- If the motor has more than three leads, and they are not marked, it is much more difficult. You will have to have a working knowledge of how to test the leads and compare the results with the information given on the nameplate
I guarentee you will be replacing your motor if you try this one i did this on accident and i am currently looking for a motor for my truck
Three phase means just that- three phases in the windings of the motor. Therefore three leads (outputs) are used to supply power. A lot depends on the number of wires coming out of the motor. In large industrial motors, you can have 9 leads. The wiring of the motor depends on the application- the motor will either be wired in series (leads 1-4-7, 2-5-8 & 3-6-9 combination) or parallel (4-7, 5-8 & 6-9 with the first three leads connected separate). To change the direction of the output shaft, simply reverse any two of the three leads.
