it really depends what your using it for.
Does google sniper still work in 2013-14
While the brass eagle line are terrible sniper platforms due to their inconsistency and generally low quality building. To turn make it at least look like a "sniper" would require a quality barrel 14-16 inches of length, a butt stock and remote coil, and a red dot sight of some sort.
14 lbs
I think it is a 13" or 14" stock barrel
All guns shoot the same FPS, therefore have the same range. The only exeption to this is barrels that causes backspin like a flatline or APEX but this slows the paintball down faster and reduces the chance of the paintball actually breaking as well as decreasing accuracy as spin increases. The best barrel is a barrel that fits your paint perfectly, but since paintballs are imperfect you need to get as close as possible. Choose a barrel that has bore inserts so that you can match it to your paint or under/overbore if you prefer. your barrel is most accurate at around 14 inches, and unless you have a bipod, are in prone and will take careful aim for EACH shot a 20 inch barrel wont do you any good.
For short barrel, Tippmann makes a 3 inch "smg" barrel. (this will decrease range and accuracy) For an accurate barrel, a Custom products two piece 12-14 inch are cheap and consistent barrels. (this depends on paint quality) For a light barrel, The Azodin or stiffi Carbon fiber, or Carbon wrapped barrels weigh much less than pure aluminum. (my AZ 16 weighs the same as 14 us quarters) For longer range, An Apex barrel is the most adjustable and usable. Like a flatline barrel, in creates backspin, causing the ball to go farther. It has 8 settings of spin as well as being able to rotate 360 degrees, for long shots, hook shots and drop shots. (The more you increase spin, the less accurate and fast the paintball becomes.) If you want a Milsim look, a CP tactical, or any rap4 shrouded barrel will look great.
It depends on what you want. If you're looking for low-priced accuracy, go for a 14 - 16 inch barrel. Contrary to popular belief, any barrel longer than that only makes the ball less accurate. It begins to bounce around the barrel, which clearly only makes it worse. ($30-$50) If you're asking about general distance, either go with a Flatline or an Apex. Flatlines will give the ball backspin, which allows it to float a little. Apex barrels however, allow for you to choose the direction of the spin goes. These are two piece barrels, so having an 18 inch barrel in this case might be un-wieldly in close quarters, but it won't affect your accuracy when sniping. ($50-$80)
The weight of the second barrel is 5 pounds (21 pounds / 3 = 7 pounds per barrel, and since the first barrel weighs twice as much, it weighs 14 pounds). The weight of the first barrel is 14 pounds.
Anything over 14" does not provide you with anymore accuracy, as the barrel tends to slow down the ball if it is to long!
63 dollars a barrel.
