You can ever quantify the different cultures. Yes India has a diverse culture. at least all the states have different cultures based upon statehood, language, religion and much more factors. Problem is "It is too difficult either to group or separate different cultures". Its a subjective issue. For me its thousands of cultures making the country so colourful.

The Philippines is unique and is different from the other country because of it's mixed cultures from different countries e.g. religion from Spain. And it's also because of political contacts with other countries e.g. being hospitable. :))
