∙ 13y agoAluminum definitely. Compared to wood, metal is able to more easily compress then regain it's shape. This trampoline effect is what causes the ball to come off the bat more quickly.

∙ 12y agoGenerally, a human can hit a Baseball faster and farther with an aluminum bat than with a wooden one because of the elasticity of the material. Statistics also show that balls coming off of aluminum bats create more injuries. This is why they are considering banning aluminum bats in college and high school baseball.
