Al Davis joined the Raiders as head coach and general manager in 1963. The 2008 season will be his 46th with the Raiders.
A quarterback trade from Washington Redskins to Raiders was #13 Jay Schroeder. I can't recall anyone else wearing that number for The Silver and Black. He later asked to be changed to #10 and his wish was granted. He did play for The Raiders and wore both numbers. I don't have any proof of this other than my own memory and watching Raiders games since 1963.
