Johnny Unitas played for the University of Louisville (UofL) from 1941 to 1943. He was a standout quarterback during his college career before serving in the military during World War II. After his service, he went on to achieve legendary status in the NFL, particularly with the Baltimore Colts.
The QBs on the 1991 Seminoles team were Casey Weldon and Brad Johnson. Weldon was the 1991 winner of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and was drafted in the 4th round of the 1992 NFL draft by the Eagles. Johnson went in the 9th round to the Vikings.
