They were held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first modern Olympics and did not fall at the end of the four year Olympiad. They are known as the intercalated games due to the fact that they in-between numbered games.
real gold medals
The Olympic Games started in April of 1896 in Athens. Therefore the "real" 100th anniversary was April of 1996. The Centennial Olympic Games were held in Atlanta from July 15 to Aug. 4, 1996.
No, there was only olympic games for men in ancient olympic history
Because We're Cool Like That! America Had Them In 2002 And 1996 So That's The Real Question!
Athena was a mythical goddess, which means she isn't/wasn't real. She did not participate in any games, in real life.

because the Olympics started in Greece
Competitions have been around since the beginning of life on Earth. There is no real way to tell what year this is.
because in 1906 the fought loins naked after fighting each outher
I believe you're thinking of the 1906 Intercalated Games held in Athens. These took place as a result of rather complicated politics between the IOC and Greece. The first IOC organised games had been held in Athens and were successful; Greece had suggested that all future Olympics be held in Athens. The IOC, and in particular the French chairman didn't like that idea - the 1900 games were due to take place in Paris. It turned out that the 1900 games hadn't worked too well and in 1901 the Intercalated games were proposed to be held in Athens "in between" the "roving games". The 1906 games did go quite well, but the Greeks had problems organising the 1910 games and it seemed that the ancient Greeks had been correct in chosing a 4 year gap between games. The IOC have since downgraded the intercalated games - retroactively calling them a tenth anniversary celebration, rather than a true Olympic games.
I think so but their penises get real big!
