The best thing to do is to look around local Golf shops. If they don't have it they will most likely be more than happy to order you in one. Club fitters would do the same. You can contact Fujikura and ask where their authorised stockists are in Canada. If you are unable to get hold of one simply look in internet golf shops.
There shouldn't be much. Older players often have a slower swing speed, so they should benefit from softer shafts, usually "A" instead of "R". (Although there's no strict definition of what "A" and "R" mean.) Senior players also often prefer graphite shafts because they provide more shock damping than steel, so worn hands don't hurt so much from mis-hits.

it will fit on shafts make sure the shaft is mens and it's a little harder to put on a crank shaft. if this is a real problem take it to the nearest lacrosse store and ask them why and if i burned out of shape go to where you bought it and see if you have a warranty (most heads do)
It depends on who you are donating them to, mens clubs are longer and usually heavier, the majority of them have steel shafts which are less flexible than the graphite shafts which are usually found on womens clubs. Many women would find it hard to hit mens clubs well because as mentioned, they usually have stiffer shafts which make it harder to get the ball off the ground and they sometimes have less loft which also makes it harder to get the ball airborne. Mens clubs are longer so it may be too long for the woman and she would have to customise her swing to hit it well which is not good. Some women prefer woods or hybrids as they have a lower centre of gravity which makes it easier to get the ball off the ground. If a man got a womans club i wouldn't suggest they use them as the shafts could be too whippy and they would not get the best from them. Clubs for men and women are designed specifically for the different users so they can get the best from them, younger golfers may find womens clubs useful as they are shorter and they can grow into mens clubs.

any mens head can fit on any mens shaft. i put warrior, brine and gait heads on STX and harrow shafts all the time. the only thing that is different between different brands is where the screw hole is located but alot of people just tape their heads on their shafts anyway. i however are one of those people who like to screw their heads on their shafts but i have found that i can drill a new hole myself by using a 1/8 drill bit. it makes the perfect sized hole for the screw. please add me to your saved sellers on ebay, ihave awesome deals on the top lacrosse gear
The pricing will vary from mens, to womens, to plus sizes. To better answer this question I would need to know if its mens or womens and the size you are needing. Roughly, they run anywhere from 30.00+.
