The 2008 All-Star Game will be played on July 15 at Historic Yankee Stadium. The "House that Ruth Built" is due to be replaced at the end of the 2008 season and the game will be the ceremonial send off for The Stadium. Although, this is a little unusual, since recent All-Star Games have most been played at a new or renovated stadium, not one that is about to be replaced. However, given the historic standing of Yankee Stadium it is very fitting for it to host its last All-Star game before being torn down.
