these are the top performers or the key players in the game.
According to the guide "Team Baseballs," your ball is worth between $500-750, depending on players present, authenticity, type of ball, and the all-important condition. Value also depends on whether the ball displays the complete American or National League roster. If it's combined Leagues/players, or missing key players, overall value decreases. Again, main value indicators are players displayed and condition of the signatures and ball.
"The top British players are Danny Meyers, Marc Levers and David Clarke. There was much applause on the announcement of the return of these great players."

The game is a full contact game. It requires players to pull, push and, jump, run and of course tackle. Physical strength is key as each player must use it compete with their opposite number
This is likely a ball signed by the members of the 1939 National League All-Star team, as all the key players mentioned starred on NL clubs, and participated in the 1939 game. National League commissioner Ford C. Frick's "signature" is likely a stamped autograph, and is an identifier featured on all Official National League balls produced during the era. According to the collector's guide "Team Baseballs," your ball is worth $650, but this value can be greater or lower depending on players present and the all-important condition of the ball and autographs. Other key factors include type of ball, whether there are any "clubhouse signatures" (autographs signed for players by ballboys, attendants, etc), and number of overall signatures.

Noted players key to ValueThe baseball will have a higher value if sold locally. The key to the value will rely on the signatures of any ballplayer that made it to the big leagues. You would have to do some home work, and find any noted players that signed the ball. Then a more accurate value can be placed on the ball. Signatures of ballplayers early in their career can carry a premium.
