Most GM PCV valves are on top of one of the rocker covers. It's usually inserted into a rubber grommet and connected to a hose that goes back to the throttle body.
Pontiac PVC Valve is located on the Driver's side rear valve cover.
Pvc in a 97 BonnevilleYes! I have the same year car as the one you are asking about. On the series II engine. Under the plastic cover, there is a small black box with a rotary clip. Under the box and the clip, that's where it is. To get it out, compress the rotary clips lock. Twist that clip, then gently wiggle this part off. Good Luck!
Were is the PVC valve located
Its Located be hide the Exhaust manifold, You have to take off the Cat, to get to it
it's between the oil filter and the alternator
on a 3.8 remove the cover over the top of the engine and look on the very end of the intake closest to the altenator.there should be a connector with three wires. unhook the connector and twist the housing, remove the housing and there it is. keep in mind theses intakes are notorious for leaking coolant into the cylinders causing the engine to run rough..
