Rappelling
I do not know all d methods of rappelling, but i know few styles.. (1) Geneva-style rappelling- the rappeller faces upward and his backside is facing towards ground...it is a famous method and safest if done using proper equipments and knowledge... (2) shoulder rappelling- this is done by passing the rope in a special way over ones shoulder and both hands are kept extended. im a right hander .. i keep my left shoulder and left extended hand facing the ground and i keep my right shoulder and right extended hand towards sky (on a vertical wall it is very dangerous)... (3) belly rappelling- in this method one has to face the ground and his back is towards the sky.. special forces use it more frequently.. in this method one can carry some load on his back while rappelling.. even one can carry and injured person on his back...
