On most pointe shoes there is a seem towards the back of your foot's arch. This is generally the correct placement for you ribbons.

Im having problems with your soft pointe shoes. I know how to fold the ribbon and then sew it on. But do i fold the ribbon to the left or to the right?
the best way to sew on ribbon is actually to NOT cut it but leave it in one long piece that goes under the foot on the inside of the shoe.
