Ripstiks can be purchased from various retailers, including sporting goods stores, online marketplaces like Amazon, and directly from the manufacturer's website. It's important to ensure you're buying from a reputable seller to avoid counterfeit products.
well, there are a lot of places to buy them. Um... MC Sports, Walmart, Target, And then online, CCS, TheHouse. Yeah, but like walmart and target, most of the time, u look in the super centers.
Absolutely! You have 100% control over the board, and you can perform endless amounts of tricks with style & ease. Super fun! Just search YouTube for the video "Streetboarding - Enough Said!" and you will see how good they are! You can ride snakeboards/streetboards everywhere a normal skateboard can be ridden; skateparks, vert ramps, streets, etc. Just be sure to get yourself a good quality board with a good quality set of bindings. The moden snakeboards/streetboards look like mini-snowboards, and are made from plywood so riders can balance better on boardslides etc. The oldschool plastic boards are more unstable and wobbly and and are more dangerous. NOTE: Be careful not to confuse snakeboards / streetboards, with ripstiks / casterboards. Ripstiks / Casterboards are ripoffs of snakeboards, and you can't do nearly as many tricks on them.
No, you cannot adjust the size of a ripstik. Ripstiks are designed with a fixed size and shape, typically suitable for a range of riders based on their age and skill level. However, you can choose from different models that cater to various preferences and riding styles. If you need a different size, you would need to purchase a new ripstik that fits your needs.
Whether a RipStik is better than an Oxeloboard depends on personal preference and intended use. RipStiks offer a unique carving motion and are typically more suited for tricks and maneuvers, while Oxeloboards provide a more stable ride and are often easier for beginners. Ultimately, the choice depends on your riding style, skill level, and what you aim to achieve with the board.
