When the Federal League folded after the 1915 season, Weeghman joined forces with William Wrigley Jr. and bought the Cubs and moved their home games to Weeghman Park from West Side Grounds where they had played since 1893.The park was called Weeghman Park until 1920 when it was renamed Cubs Park.
