Depending on where you live, you can find a direct replacement, maybe even better. Just about every town I have ever heard of has a gas station somewhere, that has a pump around to the side, that usually has a Moroso, or, a blend of H&H red, or blue, or some thing putting out 105-110 octane, w/wo lead. Here, they even sell it at the dragstrip. Connect into your local community. Another alternative is good old Av-gas. Aviation fuel. Your local small airport will have to help you out because there is two types, and the octane rating varies by altitude. Caution: this fuel has to be mixed with regular gas as you will melt down pistons if you try to run it strait. There is also a road tax issue that comes into play here so they won't usually let you put it right into your car, unless it is on a trailer. Take a can. 5 gallons goes a long way. If you do not have a effective compression ratio of at least 11:1, I do not recommend running these fuels, and even then use extreme caution. Better to go about 9:1, run pump gas, and make it up in the cylinder heads.

NASCAR to Use Unleaded Fuel in 2008. NASCAR announced that NASCAR teams would switch to unleaded fuel by the start of the 2008 season. This is a significant development for NASCAR teams as they have long been the target of environmental groups. This change is possible because researchers at Sunoco have developed Sunoco 260 GTX a new fuel formula that does not damage racing engines. Beginning in 2011, Nascar started to use Sunoco Green E15 racing fuel. This is a renewable fuel blended with 15 percent American-made ethanol from American-grown corn.
Why are there no gas gauges in Nascar race cars?
Nascar cars do not use normal gas gauges due to the fact that when the cars are in corners the centrifical force causes the fuel to slosh around in the fuel cell, Which in turn would cause the gauge to sometimes show that it is empty and sometimes full. That is why they use fuel pressure gauge instead. Which tells the driver how they are doing on fuel via the needle bouncing back and forth.

There is a limit on the amount of fuel a driver can carry. A standard NASCAR fuel cell is 22 gallons, but they can mandate a smaller cell for any race. They also set the size and length of the lines that run between the fuel cell and the engine, and also the path the lines take through the car. They do this because Richard Petty once presented a car that had the fuel lines routed through the frame rails to make the car neater...but when they checked further they found the frame of his car was full of gasoline. When they told him he couldn't do that, he presented a car for inspection the next week that used fifty feet of fire hose as a fuel line. There is no limit as to the amount of fuel a driver can use. In IndyCar they've always had a tank of fuel sitting in the pits and when it was empty you couldn't race anymore. NASCAR doesn't think that's safe, so each track they use has a gas station in the infield where teams pick up fuel after each pit stop.
