∙ 9y agoCurling was a demonstration sport in the inaugural 1924 Winter Olympics (Chamonix), and then again in 1932 (Lake Placid), 1988 (Calgary) and 1992 (Albertville).
The sport didn't become an official medal sport until the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. It's been an official sport ever since.
