Well, the ollie is the start of all tricks and I_being a s8tr for 6 yrs._think this should be the first trick you try and master.
1. its an ollie not an alley 2. push on the back of the board 3. try to take the tech deck in the air with you 4. there
if you end up doing a 180, your doing the fundamental flatground ollie wrong. you should pop it and land it perfectly straight if you just want to do a normal olliejust try to ollie and not move in any direction accept up
try putting your foot more in the center
Put both feet at the back of the board pop up the front wheels and slide your front foot to the front. Practice this and then try it onto a curb.
Try putting your front foot farther forward and your back foot more on the tail. That should make the nose of the board go higher so it wont hit your leg
you need the ollie and manual to get this one done. Approach the obstacle at a slight angle and pop your ollie. try to land in a manual position aiming your the back truck for the edge. Balance as you would the manual as ar as possible. To get off you gently nudge the board off the edge.
How to do a Ollie:Have Your back foot on the tail. And your front foot just behind the front boltsCrouch down and while springing up pop the back of your foot down.Slide your front foot up and fell your self jump up highLet the board quickly follow your feet.Tips: If you are not satisfied you are going to land on your board and not fall, try it on the grass firsts. While on the grass if you are not confident that you understand how the board will go up in the air, do the steps of the Ollie but quickly jump off onto the grass and watch the board do its thing.and if u still cant do it try it on just a deck.
dont listen when they say u have to slide up ur fingers its too hardi pull back hard then pop and push hard forward but if u can only get spin and not land try practicing just having fingers on tape when u pop put fingers in normal position follow my directions and ull have it
wait a little bit to flick your front foot. wait until your almost at the peak of your ollie
Well, is it because you back foot is not far enough back on the tail. If that's not the prolem then try, when you pop your back foot make sure you hit the tail hard, then after slide other foot.
The way i learned how to ollie was from watching some videos. That will help to teach you the basics of the ollie, but you pretty much have to just go out and try it. Everyone has a different tecnique, so find a way that works for you. PS:Learning to ollie will take some time. Dont give up and get frustrated. It took me half a year to ollie before it came to me naturally. _______________________________________________________________________ Try to do it on the carpet stationary. And watch Tony Hawks Trick tip on youtube for it. it really helped me allot. Now i can ollie 20 in.!!
