1992 against the Pittsburgh Penguins
Q: It was Philadelphia flyers and that's how Chicago blackhawks won the Stanley Cup!
2010 - The Flyers finished 7th in the Eastern Conference in the 2009-10 season. They lost to the Chicago Blackhawks in 6 games.
Marian Hossa (now of the Chicago Blackhawks), played in the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals for Pittsburgh (and lost), played in the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals for Detroit (and lost), and played in the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals for Chicago (and won).
2013: Not this year. The Boston Bruins lost the Stanley Cup to the Chicago Blackhawks in 6 games, giving up the lead and the game late in the third period. The last time the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup was in 2011, beating the Vancouver Canucks in 7 games.
The Chicago Blackhawks are a hockey franchise that was founded in 1926. They have won a total of 2415 games and lost a total of 2502 games, making their overall winning percentage about 49%.
The Flyers lost to the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals, so probably in a third world country, lol.
The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Minnesota North Stars (now the Dallas Stars) in 1991, then defeated the Chicago Blackhawks in 1992. In 2008, they lost to the Detroit Red Wings, but won the Stanley Cup rematch against the Red Wings in 2009.
I think the answer is St.Louis Blues with 3 finals appearances and no wins. This is during post original 6 era. During the original 6 era, all teams won the cup. (Although the Chicago Blackhawks won only one cup in this era, it was their last.) Buffalo Sabres and Vancouver Canucks have both lost 2 finals with no wins. Hawky
The Penguins have been to the Stanley Cup Finals four times. They've won the Cup 4 times (1991 vs. the Minnesota North Stars; 1992 vs. the Chicago Blackhawks; and 2009 vs. the Detroit Red Wings), and lost in the finals once (2008, to the Red Wings). They also won in 2016 vs. the San Jose Sharks.
2009. They lost the Stanley Cup rematch to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 7 games.
2010 bt dey lost to Orlando
Marian Hossa(as of last Friday!)
The Edmonton Oilers lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in 7 games in the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals.
2006 against the colts, but they lost.
The Minnesota Wild's hockey season is over, but you can head to their official website and find their schedule for the previous 2013 season. They were in the quarter finals but they lost to the Chicago Blackhawks.
Well, the only person that comes to mind would be Marian Hossa, but he didn't ask, he left the Penguins, went to Detroit after the Penguins lost to Detroit. Then he lost to the Penguins on Detroit. He then left Detroit and went to the Blackhawks, and finally won with them.
The last time the Avalanche made the playoffs was in 2010. They lost to the San Jose Sharks in six games.
No but they did make it to the Stanley Cup finals in 1998 and lost to the Detroit Red Wings.they got to the Stanley cup finals but then lost so no
The hawks have lost a total of 7 times in the Stanley Cup final series. The first year they lost was in 1931 when they lost to the Montreal Canadiens. The next time they lost was in 1944 when they lost to the Montreal Canadiens again. In 1962 they lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Three years later, in 1965, the Hawks lost to the Montreal Canadiens for a third time. In 1971, the hawks were unable to take down the Montreal Canadiens for the fourth time. Two years late, 1973, the Hawks were defeated by the Montreal Canadiens for the fifth time! The last time they lost was in 1992 when they were deafeated by the Pittsburg Penguins. Lets just say the Hawks are to hot against the Montreal Canadiens in Stanley Cup final games.
pitsburgh penguins one the Stanley cup because they had more heart and determinatin , plus the did not want to loose to the same team that they lost last year in the stnley cup finals
The last Canadian team in the finals were the Ottawa Senators in 2007. They lost. The Vancouver Canucks are going to the finals this year (2011).
As of 2011, the last time the Chicago Cubs played in the world series was in 1945. They played the Detroit Tigers and lost 4 games to 3.
The Maple Leafs lost 6-2 to the Chicago Blackhawks on February 13, 1999. Bob Probert scored the final goal in Maple Leaf Gardens history.
