I assume by this you mean : How do you shoot a basketball? If so, there is a technique that is used to get the best shot. First off, you need to have your dominant hand under the basketball, elbow in an L position, wrist bent so that the ball is resting on your hand. Make sure you have a little bit of space between your palm and the ball, but your fingertips should be handling it. Next, take your other hand and put a "bookend" on the basketball. This hand should just be a guide when you're shooting; it shouldn't contribute to the power of the shot. For the release, you need to push up and slightly out, and your wrist should flip over at the end, so that your index and middle finger look like they're in the basket. I hope this helps, but it would probably be better with a demonstration. I recommend getting one of your friends or a coach/trainer to show you how.
Hand over their weapons and surrender.
No. The hand over the heart is not required. It is considered "expression" which is guaranteed by the First Amendment.
