1. The Time-Frame appeals to a bigger audience. Other popular sports like football, tennis, hockey etc, last only about 2 to 3 hours. Twenty20 Cricket lasts 3 hours, and it's full of 3 hours of action. 2. Entertainment. 6's, 4's wickets, run-outs, catches. Everything goes on in Twenty20 and in such a short time. This type of all action cricket can attract more fans and help globalize the game. 3. Closer Matches. Rarely do you see teams thrashed in a Twenty20 game. The match remains entertaining until the match has been completed, and less established teams can participate and not be constantly thrashed. 4. New Shots come in the game. In Twenty20 you have to improvise. The switch hits, The "Dilshan" shot, all these new innovative shots will be seen in ODI & Test Cricket. 5. There's always a full crowd: Too often in ODI's and Test Cricket, the stadium is half full, in T20 there's always a full crowd and great atmosphere. Disadvantages: 1. Money. Players are getting paid to much to participate in Twenty20 tournaments, greed could soon take over Cricket. 2. Twenty20 Taking over. Tests may be taken over by Twenty20 Cricket, as players and spectators are no longer interested in playing the longer form of the game, because of the lower pay packets.
