DEI is now co-owned by Theresa Earnhardt and Chip Ganassi. It runs under the name of Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing.
Dale Earnhardt Inc. (DEI) is still located in Moorseville, NC, and their showroom is still open to visitors. DEI no longer has a race team. They merged with Chip Ganassi and Felix Sabates on November 12, 2008, forming Earnhardt Ganassi Racing. Beginning in 2014, the team is known as Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. The Earnhardt family is no longer connected with the team.
Nascar driver Juan Pablo Montoya drives for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. The race team is owned by Teresa Earnhardt, Chip Ganassi and Felix Sabates.

Dale Jr's half brother Kerry is now a consultant, specializing in driver development with Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing. Kerry's son Jeffrey currently races in the Camping World East Series.
DEI no longer fields their own cars. They have since merged with Chip Ganassi to form Earnhardt Ganassi Racing. EGR has two cars in the Sprint Cup Series, their drivers are Jamie McMurray (#1) and Juan Pablo Montoya (#42).
Dale Jr. owns nothing of DEI. Dale Jr. was looking for a 50/50 partnership with his stepmother, Theresa Earnhardt back in 2007. When that didn't work out, Dale left and went to Hendrick Motorsports in 2008.
