you really cant win... only if you go next to something and you kill it.... but that probably wont happen
The tallest piece on the chess board is the king.
You can't checkmate another king unless the king is the only piece left on the board.
Yes, that situation is called a stalemate, which results in a tie. A king is not permitted to move into check, In fact even if in addition to the king there are pawns on the board which are blocked and have no move to make it will be a stalemate, because the only piece able to move would be the king.
Yes, as long as the move doesn't leave the King in Check from another source.
The queen is the most valuable piece after the king and can move veritcally, horizontally and diagonaly
The King is perhaps the weakest piece on the board other than a pawn. The King is the most important, but not the strongest. It can move only one square at a time, whereas other than the pawn, which can only advance two spaces on its opening move, every piece may move more than one space beyond its position. The Queen is the most powerful on the board in terms of movement and capturing power. The King is very vulnerable in the opening and middlegame, but in the endgame where there are no Queens and very few other pieces it can become a monster of a piece.
Yes, the king can capture its attacker as long as the the attacking piece is adjacent to the king and if the king can move to the space where the attacker is without putting himself in check from some other piece of the opponent.
Yes, otherwise the game would never end! :) For that matter, a normal piece may also jump a king given that the king is further from the piece's starting side of the board - just the same as jumping other ordinary pieces. The only difference between a "man" (ordinary piece) and a king is that the king can move to any black square rather than only those "in front of" it.
Reaching the end of the chess-board is only significant to the pawn who then can be promoted to any chess piece other than the King .
I'm not quite understanding this question, but what it sounds like is: do u receive a pawn when your king goes across the board?? if so, then the answer is no, you receive nothing for anything going across the board, except for pawns, which can be turned into any piece except a king or another pawn. Another interesting thing about turning pawns, is if u already have the max of the piece on the board, u cannot turn it into that piece, 2-rook 2-knights 2-bishops 1-queen hope this answers your question
No. The only way possible is to agree with the other player before the game as to Special and Unique rules. Ex) special moves for pieces and a different setup at the beginning of the game.
Each of the chess pieces are important to the game of chess but the most valuable is , of course , the king . The queen , rooks , bishops and knights are also important to the game .Each of these chess pieces have an assigned value :King-invaluableQueen-9Rook-5Knight and Bishop-3Pawn-1
