∙ 6y agoNo a player cannot but there is a loophole. If the player starts their attack behind the 10 foot line, and hits the ball and lands in front of the 10foot line, that is okay. But if they start in front of the 10 foot line, that is not okay and will result in the loss of that point.

∙ 11y agoA back row player may attack the ball above the net if they jump from behind the 10ft. line. A libero may not attack the ball above the net under any circumstances; also a libero cannot overhand set inside the 10ft line.

∙ 9y agoThe 10 ft. line is typically considered the dividing point between the front and back row on the court. Although, players will play outside of their positions when necessary, meaning that front row players could potentially play a ball in the back row (behind the 10 ft. line)

The back court is the area of your team's court that is closest to the endline (serving line).
If your foot is on the serving line
They have to be behind the serving line, but they can jump past this line when serving.
They only use a little flag. They just use hand signals to show that it was out, in, or the server stepped over the line when serving!
A foot fault in volleyball occurs when the server steps on or over the service line while serving the ball. They can not enter the court in any way until the ball has been struck or served into the field of play.
You use the same service line as any other age. It never changes officially.
Its about 30 feet.
If your a hard server, then you might wanna back away from the line but if your a short server, then it wouldn't hurt to be up TOWARDS the line. Just don't pass the line or its a foot fault.
When the person who is serving steps over or on the service line.
