From what I know, apparently they were not bred, they were given birth by Wolves/Wolverine but their bodies were not exactly like wolves, so given the name Siberian Husky, and from then they used them as sleigh dogs. Really. Teacher told me that.
Just about any breed can be used for hearing assistance dogs. Huskys might also be therapy dogs. Of course huskys are used for pulling sleds, and possibly avalanche/search and rescue dogs. The only issue I can see with "service" huskys is stubbornness.
yes well some r 4 example a huskey or a samoyed they help by pulling sleds
Husky dogs are good at helping people because they are intelligent, strong, and have a strong work ethic. They excel in pulling sleds over long distances which makes them well-suited for various tasks like search and rescue, therapy work, and as service animals. Their friendly and outgoing nature also makes them great companions for those in need.
A Husky dog's original and main purpose was to pull sleds for their owners. They are also amazingly brilliant companions, and being closest related to the wolf of all dog breeds, talented hunters.
Huskies are not hunting dogs. They are used, if working, at pulling sleds. Hunting dogs don't kill the animals, only fetch them for the hunter.
"Police dog" is a job description, "husky" is a breed. Police dogs are chosen to do certain things, which huskies aren't known to be as good at. They're better for that purpose. If you don't have that purpose, a husky might be just as good or even better.

Alaskan malamutes were originally bred for heavy duty work..such as pulling large sleds. They are like the Siberian husky, and Samoyed which were all bred for similar work..Though they go slower than Siberian huskies and other sled dogs, they have a bigger build, weigh more, and were built bigger for pulling more weight. They are not normally used in races as much as huskies.
They were first bred in Alaska to pull sleds because their warm coat shielded them from the frosty weather. Today, people from all over the world want them to pull sleds in other cold countries. So, they can live anywhere!

Look at their body language when they are pulling the sled. They are happy, tails up, barking, heads up, ears forward, etc. pulling for all they are worth. Very happy body language
