The most widely-held view is that the Scottish invented curling, so most people would say the Scottish invented the curling rock. Modern curling rocks are much more consistent in terms of shape and weight, but they all come from the same special granite quarry in Scotland.
Le curling (masculine noun): J'aime le curling (I like curling) Du curling: j'ai fait du curling (I played curling)

Curling...Oh, how I hate Curling. :P
There is no single person credited with inventing curling. Evidence points to curling being invented by the Scottish is the 1500's. It started as a crude game of sliding river stones, polished by water erosion, down frozen rivers or ponds, and slowly evolved over 500 years into what we see today.
If you mean 'curling (your hair)': Are you curling tonight = Ensortijas anoche? If you mean the game of curling (on ice), there is no Spanish equivalent, so you'd have to say: Juegas a 'curling' anoche = Are you playing at 'curling' tonight?
