Both Jack Laugher (3M springboard) and Alicia Blagg (10m Synchro) are younger. There could be younger divers from other countries also (if selected) for example James Connor (Australia) and the second male Chinese 10M diver.
Why are people obsessed with Tom Daley?
Tom was being bullied at his old school because of his profile in becoming a celebrity in diving. At first it was name calling, then it progressed to things being thrown at him. His Dad removed him from the school after Tom said he didn't want to go back there after the Beijing Olympics. He is now in a sponsorship at Plymouth College doing well.
