No; the Vancouver Canucks have never won the Stanley Cup.
arik
no but there have also been Vancouver teams before the canucks called the millionares and the maroons. i still think canucks is better XD The Millionaires won the Stanley cup in 1915, although they weren't part of the NHL yet (they were part of the PCHA). The Millionaires played from 1912-1922 until being renamed Maroons for 4 years after that.
They were formed in May of 1970.
In the 40 years that Vancouver has been in the NHL this is probably their best chance. They have a great team, strong at all positions and on paper seems to be stronger than the Boston Bruins. However, like in all sports, the stronger team doesn't always win!!
because he carries all the aspects the Canucks want in a captain and has been a leader throughout his time in Vancouver
Vancouver Canucks have made it to the Final three times, but failed to win the Stanley Cup. However, prior to the formation of the NHL, when the Stanley Cup was a challenge trophy, it was won by the Vancouver Millionaires way back in 1914/15.
This (2011) is the first time the two teams have met in the finals. The Canucks have been to the finals twice before: in 1982 and in 1994. The Bruins have been to the finals seven times before, most recently in 1990.
No, the Vancouver Canucks have yet to win the coveted Stanley Cup. They have been the Cup Finals three times, in 1982 vs NY Islanders, 1994 vs NY Rangers, and 2011 vs Boston Bruins. Way back in the day in 1915, the Vancouver Millionaires won the Championship!
The Vancouver Sun was first published on January 12, 1912. This local Vancouver paper has been a reliable, leading source for news for its local people.
No because they have only been in a playofff final 3 times and lost all 3 but did not start the series 3-0.
