Yogi Berra played 19 MLB seasons. All but one for the Yankees. Yogi Berra was an active Major League player from 1946 to 1963. Then became the Manager of the Yankees in 1964 and Manager of the New York Mets from 1972 to 1975.
That would be every Yankees player in franchise history, except for Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra. Those were the only three Yankees to win three MVP awards. Alex Rodriguez also won three MVP awards in his career, two with the Yankees and one with the Texas Rangers.
