Hespeler hockey sticks are made by Heritage Wood Specialties. Heritage Wood Specialties bought the Hespeler brand from Bauer Nike in 2003.
Hockey "skates" need to have steel blades for ice hockey or urethane [plastic] wheels for roller hockey. The boot part of the skate should have good support for the ankle and be made sturdy enough to protect the foot from the impact of pucks and hockey sticks.
The EE is a reference to the width of the skate. Skates come in a standard D width which is your regular or normal width. E is slightly wider than a standard D and EE is the widest that retail hockey skates will be made. Reference the skate size chart below to help with sizing.
