The Final Four is the national semi-final of the NCAA Tournament featuring the winners of the four brackets, which decide who play in the National Championship
The Final Four teams in the 2008 NCAA March Madness tournament were UCLA, Memphis, Kansas, and North Carolina. Kansas went on to win the tournament.
In the NCAA Men's Division 1 Championship, the game itself is simply called the championship game. The tournament leading up the the championship is referred to as "March Madness" and the four teams that play to determine who will play for the NCAA Division 1 Championship are collectively referred to as the "Final Four."
