1996, 1998, 1999, and 2007. The Jacksonville Jaguars are 2-2, winning in 1996 and 1999 against the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins in 1996 and 1999, respectively. They lost against the New York Jets in 1998 and the New England Patriots in 2007.
No. The New York Yankees, and the Boston Red Sox play each other during the regular season. They only play each other in the division championship when both teams make the playoffs.
They have to make it to the BCS championship game first. They have a game with Arizona on 11/26 and a game with rival Oregon State on 12/3. If they win both of those games, they will get to play against Auburn or Boise State or TCU in the BCS Championship game.
Michigan's Fab Five never won the championship. In 1992 and 1993 they made it to the championship game.
Buy the game.
I would guess all of them since to make it to the Super Bowl a team has to win its conference championship game.
According to the NFL Collective Bargaining agreements, post season payouts for 2008 are: Wild Card $ 20,000 (Division Winner) $ 18,000 (Non-Division Winner) Divisional Round $ 20,000 Championship Game $ 37,500 Super Bowl Winner: $ 78,000 Loser: $ 40,000
As that championship game was already played January 8, 2009 it is impossible for Iowa to play in the NCAA-CFB Division-Ia Championship game DURING 2009.However, if they win the Big-10 title AND finish the 2009 season ranked #1 or #2 in the BCS system {currently #10 or #11} they CAN play in an NCAA-CFB D-Ia Championship Game in 2010, to be played on/about January 9, 2010.If they do so, that will be a significant accomplishment. If they do not, sorry to Hawkeye fans asking, but you should still remain proud of your team and their in-season accomplishments to date.
Yes, you could probably make it at a division 1 or division 2 school.
There has been two number eight seeds (the lowest seeds) to make it to the title game: * UCLA in 1980 and *Villanova in 1985 Villanova won the national championship that year
They went 14-2. The only losses were to the Los Angelos Rams and Houston Oilers. They beat the Oilers in the AFC championship game and went on to beat the Cowboys in the superbowl
In universe mode or championship scramble or you can have a match and put the title on the line but it will only change hands in universe mode or championship scramble unless you edit a superstar and add a title to him/her
Hell no! Winning a division title is not the result of a tournament championship like the Conference championship (that gets an AFC or NFC Championship Ring) or the Super Bowl (that of course gets a Super Bowl Ring). You have to actually be good enough to MAKE the tournament and then be the last one standing (in your conference or the league) to get one of those rings. Winning a division title isn't the result of tournament play, but just an accumulation of the best season record relative to the others in the division. But you (usually, unless coming down to the end of the season to break ties and the two teams happen to be playing each other in the last game of the season) don't beat anyone in one game at the end of a tourney, which you had to be good enough to get into in the first place, to earn the title. So it's not ringworthy.
