There were a few matches in the old Texas territories (WCCW) in which the way to win was to make your opponent bleed. While blood has been prevalent in Wrestling for many, many years, I believe this is the first instance of blood being a winning stipulation.
It is to be noted, I'm not 100% sure on this. But I'm confident.

I decided to do a little research on the subject. I couldn't find any documented instances of first blood matches taking place in WCCW. I still believe they did, but I can't find stone cold proof of it.
However, the first ever documented First Blood Match took place on June 19, 1993 in Eastern Championship Wrestling (later known as Extreme Championship Wrestling) at the Super Summer Sizzler in which Tony Stetson defeated Larry Winters.
