There are a ton of things that will help you increase leaping ability. First though, I suggest you make sure to incorporate running and sprints into your workout. Now to strengthen your legs effectively, they should be worked out no more than 2 to 4 times a week depending on the intensity of the workout. To make this short and sweet, the best workout I've ever done with with my legs is doing several sets of squats, jumps and lunges all on after the other. You do the squats with a medium weight and get in about 20 reps, then move to jumping toward the celing or some other objective trying to reach it with your fingers, and finally, long deep lunges before you repeat the whole process. Id say about 20 to 30 jumps too and 20 lunges with each leg
