The points of darts have traditionally been made of steel. In fact, the sport is often referred to as steel-tip darts, even though most points today consist of at least 80% tungsten (for added strength).
Tips for rune darts can be found at most major retailer and sporting goods stores. Wal-Mart, Target, Dick's, or Gander Mountain are all places that carry tips for rune darts. If you prefer to shop online you can check out RunScape, Rune HQ, orGP Buting.
Yes. Mavericks can fire (suction) Micro Darts, Whistler Darts, Dart Tag (velcro) darts, and the newest "Elite" darts. The only commonly-available darts that Mavericks are not compatible with are the "streamline" darts, the ones designed for the clip-fed, non-Elite N-Strike guns (they look like Elite darts, with tapered orange tips, but have orange rather than blue bodies). This is because the holes in streamline darts don't go as deep as with the other darts, and therefore can't be pushed into a Maverick's barrel as far as it needs to go.
Dart Tag Darts have velcro at the tip of them, so they stick to many clothes and materials like felt. Also hair seems to stick to the tips and can be a pain to remove.
Yes. Their poison was used by South American and Columbian Indians to poison the tips of their blowgun darts.
it depends if you want speed go the suction darts, but if you want acuracy go the hard tips
The Maverick is the one that looks like a pistol, and its barrel slides out. It holds 6 darts with suction tips.
If this question is referring to the actual brand 'Nerf' there are two different things it could mean: 1.The DARTS 2.Cartridges that you put the darts into before firing them. Option #2 can be immediately answered because Nerf does not use cartridges for their darts. The darts that Nerf produces vary slightly in size because of the different tips that accompany them, but are roughly 1cm in diameter and 5.5cm long.
I don't know much, but the poison from the frogs were by South American and Columbian Indians to poison the tips of their blowgun darts.
Yes you can. I personally bought a tip puller 25 years ago , so I just do my own. Most dart stores can do the job for you after you pickout what type of point you want back in (length, design). If you are in northern california go online and check A-Z darts the have a large selection of steel points and can answer any question you have, actually if you are any where in the world you can go to A-Z darts, online.....the old guy
