Schooners are fore and aft rigged sailboats with at least two masts and usually more. As such, these boats have been made almost forever, and have therefore been made with a wide variety of materials depending on the era and the technology available. When Schooners were commercial boats, they were typically wodden hulled with a wooden deck and -- you guessed it -- wooden spars.
