Muhammad Ali's current condition is referred to - by Ali associates - as 'Parkinsons Syndrome, as he displays Parkinsons like symptoms without suffering Parkinsons disease.

Many others however, including Ali's former fight doctor, belief Ali is suffering from Pugilistic Dementia - formerly referred to as being punch drunk - brought on by his many years in the ring, especially the later years when Ali's legs were no longer quick enough to provide a first line of defence.
