It depends on what you call "East". Certainly Moscow, USSR(now Russia) in 1980 Summer Games qualifies. Sarajevo, Yugoslavia(now the capital of Bosnia & Herzegovina) hosted the 1984 Winter. Greece hosted the first games in 1896 and the Summer Games again in 2004. And although maps often put Finland with Western Europe, Helsinki, Finland's 1952 Summer Games are very far east.
