At the commencement of a netball match, the two Centre players must be in the centre third and all other players must be in the goal thirds.
You have to stay 3 feet away from your opponent ( 1 metre ) in a game of netball. . :] Cheers hun.x
The role of an umpire in netball is to make sure the players are playing properly and that the game is running smoothly and properly. He/she must detect things like footwork, repossession, contact, the 3 second rule etc. The umpire's decision is final.
Prior to a game of netball, there will be a toss. The winners of the toss will usually take the centre throw. A game of netball then starts when the winning team's centre (C) has stepped into the circle and thrown the netball. Also all players must be in the correct positions and no feel in the semi circle or into the middle third, except for the centers(c)
You must stand within 0.9 meters away from someone in netball
They are only allowed in their defensive third, and must start the game, and any centre pass from inside their defensive 'D'.
In the middle third.
No you are not allowed to wear jewellery whilst playing neball. The umpire must also check the players for jewellery before they take to the court. If you wish you may play with a medical alert braclet or wedding ring, but they MUST be taped. Wearing jewellery is a hazard to yourself and other players when playing netball. I don't think so but its probably not a good idea anyway. NO you cannot wear jewellery playing netball its is a safety hazard and can hurt you and people playing on court Yes that's true, you can not wear jewellery while playing netball or training for that matter because you can hurt yourself and/or people playing with you. It may be called a non-contact sport but there is a lot of contact. You have to have your nails short, so when you look at the palm of your hand you cant see your nails at the end of your fingers. if you wear sleeper earings people's fingers can get caught
1 meter
The Silver Ferns are New Zealand's national netball team. To really excel in a sport, you must enjoy. So the players of the Silver Ferns enjoy netball, and there are many reasons for this. As a netball player myself, I enjoy the challenge of playing against different opponents, figuring out my strenghts and weaknesses and working on them and the feeling of having a victory. It's also an oppurtunity to represnt your school/town/state/country with pride, and you make some great friends. Hope that helped :)
You are not allowed to step in netball. You must be three feet before you defend a player. love ya hunny bab
Get to know the rules( have a good understanding of the game) and don't be easily distracted. When u r distracted u can easily miss something in a netball game. well in the official English and Australia rules state that there must be 2 scoreres for a game opne fom each opposing team. tey record the score each time you or the other team gets a goal. but at the end of the game you must go up to the scorers and ask what the score was either that or they come up and tell you.
