It depends on the type of race. Flat and steeplechase race are for thoroughbredsbreds Barrel racing is Quarter horses.Barrel can be Tennessee walking horse though.
A black type placed winner in thoroughbred racing would be a horse that is a winner of a race AND also finished 2nd or 3rd in a stakes race. The 2nd or 3rd in the stakes race is what give the horse the "black type placed" distinction.
Quarter Horses. But they are usually Quarter Horse x Thoroughbred crosses, not pure Quarter Horse, as Appendix QHs can be registered with the AQHA.
The fastest horse breed depends upon the type of race they are in. Arabians are usually the best distance horses. Throughbreds run intermediate distances, and the American Quarter Horse is known to excel in sprinting.
Cowboys usually ride a Quarter Horse.
The type of people that would race in this race are, people of the bering straight religon or AKA inuit people (:

horse leads and halts are usually made out of nylon
This would be a cutting horse which is usually an American Quarter Horse.
A jockey is someone who races horses, an equestrian is someone who rides them.
Horses can be scratched (removed) from a race for a number of reasons. These are some general reasons for a horse to be scratched as well the the indivdual (usually) responsible for each type Scratched by the veterinarian for illness, lameness etc. Scratched by the stewards for procedural issues or violations. They can also scratch horses before they enter the starting gate for perceived lameness. Scratched by the trainer for issues like the race was moved from the turf to the dirt. Trainers will also sometimes enter horses in multiple races to optimize their chance of getting into a race...if the horse gets into both races the trainer usually scratches the horse from one or the other.
It will either show on your horse's page, or you can go to Breeding Farms --> Competitions and click on the race type that you entered to see the results.
