There really is no "right" pair of gloves for Snowboarding. Depending on weather you may want a lighter pair or a thicker pair. As a general rule for all snow sports though, you don't want a glove that will soak through easily. Try and pick a glove that has a reinforced palm area. Many boarders sit down to strap in if they have strap bindings (rather than step-in). So you're to also want a pair that leaves room for mobility.
