The player who was on both the 1969 and 1986 World Series roster for the New York Mets was Ed Kranepool. Kranepool made his debut with the Mets in 1962 and was a member of the 1969 "Miracle Mets" team that won the World Series. He remained with the Mets throughout his career and was still on the team in 1986 when they won their second World Series title. Kranepool's longevity with the Mets allowed him to be a part of both championship teams.
