A "Baseball Bat," it used in a sport called, Baseball. What it is, is either a wooden, or aluminum bat, ranging from 20" -sometimes 40". It is used to hit the ball that is pitched down the plate, you swing it with your arms, and the ball will bounce of the bat. There are rules though. If you end up putting a cork in your bat, (which makes the ball bounce off the bat harder) and if they find out, you could get suspended, or even kicked out of the Baseball league.
The base ball...
In baseball, the bat is used to hit the balls thrown by the pitcher.
None....Bamboo is not allowed to be used in pro ball because MLB rules specifically require wood bats to be one solid piece of wood...bamboo is hollow. Josh Gibson once used a bamboo bat and hit a 700-foot homerun. After that they never used bamboo for bats ever again.
A baseball stick.
The core of a baseball bat depends solely on whether it is a wood or aluminum bat. The wood bat is made of one piece of wood cut to specific measurements. Aluminum bats are hollow shells of metal. Love the Akadema bbcor Apocalypse bats and wood bat series both are made in the USA.
A double barreled bat is the same as a double walled bat. The barrel (the part where the ball hits the bat) contains a smaller barrel inside it's hollow compartment. This gives it more umph when the ball hits the bat because of the 'trampoline effect'.
In 'normal use', the baseball bat functions as a lever and not a wedge. Physically speaking, any cone-shaped item such as a baseball bat could be used as a wedge.
