Through 2013, Kentucky has qualified for the NCAA men's Basketball tournament known as "March Madness" a record 52 times. The next closest team is North Carolina with 44. And 2013 marks the tourney's 75th year, meaning that Kentucky-- en route to its eight titles (second most)-- has been in more than two thirds of the tournaments thus far.
March Madness is a college basketball tournament. In the beginning of March, they play games to determine who gets to actually be in the tournament. Then all through March they play till down to the Final Four. They each play each other and then their is the big championship game which decides the winner! Hope this answers your question.
How is it not? 64 of the best college basketball teams play against each other in a single elimination tournament...doesn't get a whole lot better.
may madnss? may madnss?
"March Madness" is a colloquial expression used in the United States to refer to the basketball season played by various US universities in March. As such, it does not really mean anything outside the US (even in other anglophone countries). Therefore, it does not have a proper Spanish translation. If you literally wanted to translate "March Madness" into Spanish, it would be "Locura de Marzo", but this has minimal significance. You could call it "the March Basketball Tournament" which would be "el Torneo de Baloncesto de Marzo", which would carry the meaning better.
yes
