The Celtics have won 16 (or so) championships, which is the best in NBA. However, the New York Yankees have won 29 (or so) World Series titles.
No, the Yankees have 27 titles. If this question is asking about any team, there are 2 major soccer/football/futbal teams that have more titles than that.
Real Madrid C.F. from Spain has won the league 31 times.
S.L. Benfica from Portugal has also won the league 31 times.
These teams have also won other titles (additional cups and tournaments that they play in, in addition to their respective leagues they play in....i.e. La Liga, and Liga Sagres)
Club Atletico River Plate from Argentina has won the league 33 times.

Liverpool also have the most European Cups with 5, ahead of Manchester United again who have 3. Manchester United or Arsenal have the most FA Cups (English football).
