Israelis primarily play basketball and football/soccer as the dominant two sports. They use exactly the same implements to play these games as in the west. There is no endemic Israeli sport. Western summer sports (like tennis and golf) and water sports (like wakeboarding and surfing) are also popular in Israel, but are much less competitive.
