Although Cheltenham does have a rugby club too but it is largely in shadows of the more famous Gloucester Rugby Club, from its sister town of Gloucester some 15 miles away. Cheltenham is also the venue of the Gloucestershire Cricket Club (GCC) "cricket week" held every year in August, where GCC play all their home games at the Cheltenham Boys College cricket fields. Cheltenham is also the home to some of the top schools in the country. The most famous being the Cheltenham Boys College and Cheltenham Girls College. Other notable schools are Dean Close and Pates among others. Cheltenham, encompassed by Cleeve hill to the west and north and Leckhampton hill to the south, with Malvern hills further afield, is home to many celebrities, not jus from the UK but also international standings. Historical towns of Evesham, Malvern and Tewkesbury are only a short drive away. In conclusion, Cheltenham is beautiful town, centrally located with good conections to get to any part of the country, either by road or rail.
