A compound gear train connects gears that may share axles or shafts, basically two gears rotating on the same axle, not necessarily at the same speed.

Choosing the right golf shaft depends on your swing speed, playing style, and personal preference. Players with faster swing speeds might prefer stiffer shafts, while those with slower swings may benefit from more flexible shafts. Speedometers are not cable driven anymore, they are electronic. You may have a faulty speed sensor.
Young children should really use graphite shafts, they help them get the ball in the air easier and they are a lot lighter than the steel ones. Any clubs I have seen designed specifically for children have graphite shafts. When they get a bit older and stronger say 13-14 they may be able to move on to steel, because their swing speed will have increased and they are a lot stronger. Girls however tend to stay with graphite as they have slower swing speeds and the graphite shafts help get the ball in the air.
It could for emergencies, or for passing other vehicles on the road. It may also be based on the dynamics of gasoline driven engines.
The sensor may be gear driven direct off the axle. No belt or chain.
An elephant's top speed is about 25 mph (40 kph). They normally only reach this top speed on rare occasions when they are scared or upset. They normally move at a much lower running speed of about 12 to 20 mph (19 to 32 kph) depending on the species, temperate and other factors. However, they tend to stick to a steady walking speed of about 4 mph (6 kph) under normally circumstances.
Not on a limited access or "high speed" arterial roadway - never. On secondary and rural roads they may be driven only DIRECTLY to and from fields.
No. Three speeds are normally without overdrive. There may be another transmission that you could replace it with to get overdrive.
It depends on several factors, including modifications made and how it is driven. If it is stock and you drive normally, it is extremely safe. If you lift it and corner to fast, you may tip over. I have driven them for decades and have always felt relatively safe. I hit a light pole straight on and walked away shaken but unharmed.
The distance between your feet when you walk normally is called your stride width. This can vary from person to person and may be influenced by factors such as body size, muscle strength, and walking speed.
