no the best skating shoes out there are supra vaiders or muskas skytop which is also supra. because i bought my muskas about a year and half ago and they havent teared or anythin plus they have the best board feel ever plus somthing that's pretty cool is that they come with a stash pocket right inside the shoe and they also come whit more ankle and heel protection. i would highly recommend these for any skater out their

∙ 11y agoi would wear nylon socks even if you think they're really materilly (not a word) forget it there better than cotton cotton rips more easily (hard to believe) if u really don't trust this answer where cotton socks then liek 2 pairs of nylon socks trust me i've been through blistres painful and awful sight trust me ont his answer i went ice skating yesterday and im going again on saturday if u don't belive me go to rink and buy socks they're usually perfect in england (romford u can buy socks from 1.50 -3.00 so yh hope this answer helped :)

∙ 12y agoActually, it is best to wear tights... unless you're a boy. Figure skating tights work best because they are made for skates and fit easily and comfortably

When you are ice skating you can wear different things. It really depends on what you are doing, and weather you are a guy or a girl. If you are a girl and you are ice skating just for fun, you should wear clothes that keep you warm. I would prefer gloves. (incase you fall). If you are going to figure skate, or compete you would wear this: your hair up, (unless its too short), your ice skating dress, your ice tites,(leggings you wear when ice skating. These can go over the boot part of your skate and they are called "boot covers". Or they also have tites that only go from the inside of your boot up to the top of your knee.) If you are a boy you would wear an ice suit, or just normal clothes if you are skating for fun. If you are a guy or girl wanting to play hockey and not figure skate, you would wear special padding and a special kind of skate.
